Indian coronavirus variant in the UK seems to be more transmissible

A form of SARS-CoV-2 called B.1.617.2 which was designated a "variant of concern" by health authorities in England appears to be at least as transmissible as B.1.1.7, the "Kent variant" that now dominates in the UK - but does not seem more dangerous
